The Apartment overlooks the piste and chair lifts. The shops, restaurants, ski-hire, ski-school and all the amenities you could possibly need are all on site and a just a few minutes walk from the door.
Please
note that this is a no-smoking apartment. Directions to Apartment F 11 (See here for directions to Morillon 1100/Les Esserts) As you approach Morillon 1100/Les Esserts you will see a large Car Park on the left and a smaller one straight ahead. The apartment is on the right hand side of the resort as you face it, above the smaller car park. You can take the car up to the apartment via a steep, winding access road but this can get icy, requiring snow chains or 4 x 4 wheel drive; alternatively, you can park in the main car park and take the steps ahead of you, crossing the road and going to the left of the arch, working your way up more steps to the apartment on the right. (You may want to find your way to it before carrying heavy cases.) To access the apartment with the car, follow the road round to the left passing the smaller car park (on your right) and take the sharp right turn (only about 50 metres) through the archway. Follow the road up and round the sharp left then right turns and you will see ahead of you a car park which should have available space for you. The road goes between the car park (on your right) and the apartments (on your left). Apartment block F is the last but one. There should be space outside the apartment to unload/load your vehicle. There is a large open doorway with a porch roof and a lamppost outside. To the right of this and a few feet higher is another path leading to an apartment door. Take this path but go up one flight of stairs to the balcony above. This is apartment block F where you will find F 11. (This is the last but one apartment block, the last one being G)
Parking is limited and at high season you may on occasion have to unload your car and park it down at the main car park. (Permanent covered parking is still in negotiation.) Meet and Greet. With this option the apartment will be already warmed up and someone will be there to welcome you. They will be able to explain where everything is and how it works, and also give advice on ski-hire, lift passes, restaurants etc. Useful Information (This will be taken care of in the “Meet and Greet”) · Door: - When leaving the apartment, if you have any difficulty locking the door, close it firmly (without actually slamming) and you should find it easier to lock. · Water: - To turn on the water go down the stairs to the basement where you will find the ski lockers. If you are facing the door to the ski lockers (to the right of the stairs) you will see 2 white doors on the right. Open the left of these doors and you will see the apartment stopcocks clearly marked ahead. (There is a timed lighting switch on the right hand wall.) · Electricity: - Through the front door after the first bedroom door on the left is a small cupboard in the wall, in which you will find the junction box. Use the settings shown below to put everything in operation.
· Ski Locker: - Down the stairs as far as you can go you will find a door on the right marked “Ski Lockers”. They are clearly numbered and the apartment key will open it. · Hot water: - Check water heater relay (right-hand side of bottom row of switches on junction box) is set to “I” (switch up) not "0" or Auto. · Radiators: - should be left on frost protect setting * when not in use. The apartment will heat up rapidly when radiators are turned up. Settings below shut off non-essentials but keeps frost protection on when finally leaving (This will be done for you).
Please note that this is a
NON-SMOKING apartment. Any feedback and suggestions are all welcome - please use the Contact Form. |
